Our mission is to create opportunities for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities to participate fully in the community.

Rutledge Center, Inc. will provide easy access to person centered, quality services and supports.


Rutledge Center, Inc. will partner with our community to increase participation and expand opportunities for people with      disabilities.


Rutledge Center, Inc. will inspire the citizens of Coweta County to welcome people with disabilities in all areas of life.


 


What is Rutledge?

Rutledge Center, Inc. was established in 1968 for the purpose of providing support and services to individuals with developmental disabilities. We are a non-profit, 501(c)3 organization committed to enhancing the quality of life of those we serve through innovative and person-centered approaches. Rutledge Center, Inc. is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF).


Rutledge Center provides day services for adults with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities, helping them achieve their full potential in a caring and supportive environment. Currently, Rutledge Center offers two programs:  Community Access Individual (CAI) and Community Access Group (CAG).  Both programs are designed to enhance life skills and promote greater independence for participants.


Who we serve

Rutledge Center, Inc. serves adults who are 18 years of age or older with a primary diagnosis of autism, cerebral palsy, Down syndrome and other developmental or intellectual disabilities.


Eligibility to receive services from Rutledge Center, Inc. must be determined by  the completion of an intake assessment conducted by a qualified professional with the Georgia Department of Behavioral Health & Developmental Disabilities (DBHDD). Following this assessment, an individualized support plan will be developed to address the specific needs of the individual.
